These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our websites, pages, forms, content, and services that link to these Terms (collectively, the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1) Who we are; our services (not a lender)

TAF helps consumers explore vehicle financing options by collecting information and, with your permission, sharing it with dealers and/or third-party lenders who may evaluate your eligibility. We do not make credit decisions, extend credit, or set rates or terms. Any financing you obtain is between you and the lender/dealer, and is subject to their underwriting, disclosures, and contracts. We do not provide legal, financial, or tax advice.

2) Eligibility; your responsibilities

- You must be at least 18 years old and reside in Canada to use the Site.

- You represent that all information you submit is accurate and complete, and you will update it as needed.

- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your devices and any login credentials (if applicable).

3) No guarantee of approval or availability

Pre-qualification tools, rate estimators, “check your eligibility,” and similar features are informational and not a commitment to lend. Vehicle inventory, features, prices, incentives, and financing programs are subject to change without notice, may be limited by availability, and may vary by dealer and province. Images are for illustration only. Taxes, fees, and additional charges may apply.

4) Credit inquiry & information sharing consent

When you submit a finance or pre-qualification form, you authorize us to collect, use, and disclose your information consistent with our Privacy Policy. With your express consent, we or our lending partners may obtain your credit report from one or more Canadian credit bureaus (e.g., Equifax Canada, TransUnion Canada). We will clearly indicate whether an inquiry is soft (no impact to credit score) or hard (may impact credit score) before obtaining it. You can withdraw consent at any time where permitted by law, though doing so may limit our ability to provide services.

5) Electronic communications & e-sign consent

By using the Site, you agree to receive electronic communications (email, SMS, site messages) related to your inquiry. You consent to use electronic signatures and records for disclosures and agreements we present through the Site, except where paper is required by law. You may request paper copies using the contact info above; reasonable fees may apply.

6) Marketing consent & CASL

If you separately opt in, we may send promotional emails or texts about vehicles, offers, or services. Consent is not a condition of purchase or financing. You may withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link or by replying STOP to SMS. We comply with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and honour your preferences.

7) User conduct; prohibited uses

You agree not to:

- misuse the Site, interfere with security, or attempt unauthorized access;

- submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information (including about income, residence, or identity);

- scrape, crawl, or harvest data without written permission;

- upload viruses, malware, or harmful code;

- use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws or regulations.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations or suspected abuse.

8) Intellectual property; license to use the Site

The Site and its contents (text, graphics, logos, videos, forms, and software) are owned by TAF or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Except as permitted by law, you may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the Site without our prior written consent.

9) User content; reviews & testimonials

If you submit reviews, testimonials, or other content (“User Content”), you grant TAF a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute that content in any media for legitimate business purposes, with or without attribution, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You represent that your User Content is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe any third-party rights.

10) Third-party sites & tools

The Site may link to or integrate with third-party websites, lenders, dealers, or service providers. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, privacy practices, or terms. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and them.

11) Pricing, errors & corrections

Information on the Site may contain typographical errors or inaccuracies. We may correct errors, update information, or change features, pricing, offers, and availability at any time without notice. Posted prices or offers are not binding and do not constitute an offer to sell.

12) Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TAF DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

13) Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TAF, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED CAD $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID (IF ANY) FOR ACCESSING THE SITE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Some provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; some limitations may not apply to you.

14) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TAF and our directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use of the Site; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any rights of another person or entity.

15) Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Among other things, our policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information and contains the required mobile privacy language (we do not share SMS opt-in data or consent with third parties for marketing).

16) Changes to the Site or these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” above and post the updated version on this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17) Governing law; venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in British Columbia, Canada for any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site.

18) Severability; assignment; entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and SMS Terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and TAF regarding the Site and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications.
